Attendance Policy
Attendance Policy – Ambulance and Medevac Health Training Center
The attendance policy at the Ambulance and Medevac Health Training Center aims to clarify the organizational procedures for synchronous online attendance. Synchronous attendance refers to the trainee’s virtual presence in live virtual classrooms and ensuring their real-time participation during sessions. Therefore, the center has established the following policies and procedures:
Attendance Policies
-
Attendance in remote training programs is equivalent to in-person attendance, and all auditing procedures related to attendance and absence comply with accrediting body regulations.
-
The minimum attendance requirement for the trainee must not be less than 25% of synchronous sessions.
-
Absence is not allowed in remote training programs—whether for individual sessions or entire training days.
-
Attendance hours for asynchronous programs are treated as equivalent to regular attendance hours.
-
In blended learning programs (virtual or in-person) lasting more than one month, a minimum of 25% of the program hours must be attended synchronously via virtual classrooms.
-
All participants must adhere to the training schedule timeline.
-
The trainee must attend no less than 25% of the total hours for the program they are enrolled in.
-
Attendance and absence are recorded, documented, and monitored using a defined procedure.
Non-Compliance Procedures
If a trainee fails to meet the minimum required percentage of synchronous attendance, the following actions will be taken:
Accepted Excuses:
-
Medical excuses are accepted only with a medical report issued by a certified medical facility and must be submitted to the course or subject supervisor.
Unexcused Absence:
-
Failure to meet the 25% minimum attendance requirement without an approved excuse will result in the trainee being considered as not having completed the program, and they will be denied a certificate.
Policy Applicability and Compliance
This attendance policy applies to all trainees enrolled in the center’s programs. The center is committed to enforcing this policy, and all staff members must adhere to it. Any violation of this policy may subject the offender to disciplinary action according to the center’s internal procedures.
Reporting
Monthly and periodic reports are submitted by the Attendance Coordinator, with strict confidentiality maintained regarding trainee information.
